-----located here are all the accepted character profiles of the site. do not post your application here. if you want to take a look at what we're looking for here, right here is the place to look. check out a few of the applications. we encourage you to read everyone's application to get you acquainted with their character. knowing who's who will benefit you in the long run, so you might as well take the time to skim through everyone. characters make for interesting reading.

-----instead of having a bunch of boards for all your character needs, like journals, photo albums and all that, you have character catalogs. post in the claims board to get your own subboard for your character. within your subboard, you can do whatever you want with it. you can also fancy up your board description however you like. check inside for examples if you're not quite sure how things work.

-----much like cell phones, instant messaging has become a staple in society. it's infinitely faster than waiting for a reply from an email. that's why they call it instant. instead of shooting off a novel, just send a few words and get to talking. whether you're using aol instant messenger or msn messenger, your messages will be received, whether it's from a friend you're connecting with, or someone new that you're making friends with.

-----twitter has become a very popular social networking site for everybody nowadays, including celebrities and the likes. you pretty much just write what you're doing, or whatever you feel like saying. i know that doesn't sound all that interesting, but when you actually create an account and get an understanding of it, it can be quite addictive.

-----congratulations. if you've successfully gone through upper school and sixth form, then this is the next - and final - step to finishing your education. once you're done with this, my friend, it's time for you to venture out into the world and go on your own. well, depending on if you're actually going to move forth with your career choice, etc. whatever you decided to do, and whatever life throws at you, good luck.

-----if you've landed yourself in some sort of troublesome situation, then this is more than likely the place that you'll end up. or maybe you've just come to bail out a friend or a family member, or need to come in for various other reasons. whatever the case may be, this is no place to fool around.

-----this is simply a board for all your dining needs. southampton has everything from cheap fast food, down to those date-appropriate fancy restaurants. with restaurants of every kind located within close proximity to every part of the city, it's easy to catch a bite to eat wherever you may be.

-----wilson's park is located near the center of the town. it's complete with paths for biking, walking or rollerskating, a waterpark and a play park for the kiddies, and lots of greenery. and of course, ice cream stands. the park is quite large in size, and pretty diverse in certain areas. there's certain places that are as loud as can be, and other places that are usually more on the quiet side.

-----the zoo is the place to go if you want tp experience other countries but don't have the money to travel. see a little piece of canada, the usa, africa, australia and asia all in one. make sure to be repectful of the exhibits in which you are going to visit, and everything else that is within the zoo. although a lot of people view the zoo as a place that's a lot more fun when you're a child, there's still people out there that get enjoyment out of coming to grin at all the cute animals.

-----this is where all of the shopping is to be located. southampton has a mall, and a lot of other stores along the strip. shops can range from designer clothes, all the way down to a store filled with magic and pranks. we all know that a lot (but not all) of girls love to go shopping, so with all the places that are situated here, it's like every girl's dream.

-----most people happen to enjoy films. when one comes out, there's only one place to go and see it - the cinema. a trip to the cinema can be a little expensive, but if you go to see a good film that you actually end up liking, it's usually worth it.

-----i'm sure you're all familiar with the saying 'there's no place like home', which is probably most recognizable from the wizard of oz. for some people, that is a true statement. and for others, it's a pile of bullshit. but either way you look at it, this is where all of the houses are located. apartments, uptown and downtown all rolled into one.

-----not everyone has the tools for graphic making. most of those who can are happy to help. so if you need any graphic assistance, whether it's a signature or an instant messaging tag someone will be glad to help you out. just post a thread here, giving all the information of what you need and someone will come along and lend a hand.
